The Contrast Agent Probe

The Contrast Agent Probe is designed to monitor the concentration of contrast agent in dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) and CT scans, where the passage of the contrast agent is monitored by repeatedly acquiring the scans.

The Contrast Agent Probe window is accessible via the menu "UtilitiesAdvancedContrast Agent Probe".

Three plots are displayed:

• Absolute: The mean value of the Signal Intensity (SI) of the Region of Interest (ROI)
• Relative (%) (enhancement ratio (%)): (SIpost/SIpre) x 100%
• Growth (%): ((SIpost-SIpre)/SIpre) x 100%

The horizontal axis displays the scan number




The program can display four color maps:

• The maximum slope of increase
• The maximum slope of decrease
• The maximum increase
• The maximum decrease

The user can adjust the size and position of the ellipse-shaped Region of Interest (ROI)




The program can generate comprehensive printings



Open Many Series
To open many series simultaneously, the user can use the command "File OpenOpen Many Series"
A dialog box is appeared and allows the user to select more than one series by holing down the <CONTROL> or <SHIFT> key of the keyboard, and selecting the desired series.
