Configure and use many monitors

The program supports up to 4 external monitors, beside the primary monitor. The user can configure the contents displayed in these extra monitors. When the program starts, 4 small windows are appeared in the right part of the program's primary window. These extra windows can be placed and maximized in an external monitor.

There are four types of content available in extra windows: Document contents, Scout Image/Localizer, Clone and Extended. The user can configure the type of the extra windows, and if a window is visible or not at the program's start up, from menu "OptionsGeneral Options" and from tab "Extra Windows", and can show/hide the extra windows from menu "ViewExtra Windows".

Document contents Mode:
In this mode the extra window displays all frames of the active document. The active frame has an orange rectangle around it.

Scout Image/Localizer:
In this mode the extra window displays the Scout Image or the Localizer Images. The program automatically detects and loads the scout image/localizer, when the user opens a study/series. The user can also select these files manually, if for some reason the program fails to find automatically the correct files.

Clone:

In this mode the extra window displays a clone of the active frame. That means, the active frame always is displayed in the primary window and in the extra window too. This mode is useful when the primary window is configured to display many frames in small size and the user wants to see the active frame in a larger size (e.g. in mammography studies). If there are more than one Clone windows, the first tile of the first window displays the active frame, and the other tiles and windows display the next frames sequentially. The active frame has an orange rectangle around it.

Extended:

This mode is designed to allow the user to view many frames of the study/series. In this mode the primary window displays the first frames and the other windows display the next frames sequentially. In this mode the primary window and the extra windows display different frames. The active frame can be in anyone of these windows (and not only in primary window), and it has an orange rectangle around it.
