Sante Burning DVD Server

Overview

Sante DVD Burning Server can receive studies from medical scanners, PACS servers and DICOM viewers and automatically burn and print them in EPSON and PRIMERA CD/DVD producers. It acts like a usual PACS server, it writes all the received studies in its database, but additionally it sends them for CD/DVD burning and printing.

Optionally, when it receives a report from EPSON/PRIMERA producer that the CD/DVD was created successfully the program deletes the burned and printed studies from the database, otherwise it keeps them in its database until the user solves the problem of the producer (e.g. refilling with consumables), or until the user creates the CD/DVD manually and deletes them. With this option disabled, the program can be used as a usual full-featured PACS server as well.

As a PACS server, it supports all the DICOM network services (C-FIND SCU/SCP, C-MOVE SCU/SCP, C-STORE SCU/SCP, C-GET SCU/SCP, C-ECHO SCU/SCP), it is compatible with all the modalities (CT, MR, NM, US, XA, MG, CR, DX etc.), all manufacturers and all DICOM 3.0 and NEMA 2 file types. Moreover, it supports unlimited number of connections with unlimited number of DICOM nodes and DICOM clients and it can store unlimited number of patients/exams (it depends only on hard disk size).

Automatic label printing on CD/DVD Robot Producers

The program can print a CD/DVD label on the robotic disk publisher devices of EPSON and PRIMERA, automatically or manually. The label can have the patient name, patient ID, study date, study description and other useful information.

Free DICOM Viewer on CD/DVD

The program adds to the CD/DVD disk a free DICOM viewer (Sante DICOM Viewer Lite for Windows and macOS) that allows the patient and/or physician to view the patient's images of the CD/DVD disk.
